Selihom Daniel Nathan Kefale
I’m Nathan Kefale, a high school junior at Haile-Manas Academy with a passion for mathematics, STEM, and problem-solving. I’ve excelled in national math competitions, placing in the top 2% of the Ethiopian Mathematical Olympiad and earning multiple top finishes in My Soroban Ethiopia contests. Beyond competitions, I lead and contribute to academic clubs, serving as president of the Math for All Club and an active member of the Robotics and Coding Clubs. I also mentor younger students through tutoring and service-learning programs while honing my technical skills in Python, MATLAB, and HTML. My internship at Axon Stroke and Spine Center gave me hands-on experience in neurology and neurosurgery. Additionally, I serve as a deacon and teacher at the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. I’m always eager to challenge myself, grow as a leader, and make an impact in mathematics and technology.
